Mission-driven organizations have gaps in skills and tools to use data to make decisions, improve program design, enhance service delivery, and strengthen their public outreach and advocacy efforts. Our Building Data Capacity program addresses the issue.
Our program is a rapid, iterative, learning and practice journey that combines access to our innovative platform, training modules and one-on-one consulting by data science and governance experts. We make it easy for the practitioners — with or without data background — to learn, adapt, and develop data applications for public good. The first cohort of our program brought together eight civil society and media organizations in Kosovo. Our implementation focused on strengthening their capacities to advocate for increased government transparency and accountability using open data.

Our flagship product, Keshif, is an intuitive web-based platform built for rapid data visualizations, analytics, and discovery. Keshif is easy to use, and requires no programming skills or data science background to move from raw data into rich exploratory visualizations. The tool enables viewing of trends, outliers, aggregations and individual data records, and highlighting, filtering, comparing, sorting data, and sharing results, all in a few clicks.
